The Godhead

We believe the scriptures teach that there is one, and only one, true living God, creator of all things, who is infinite, intelligent, and eternal. In the Godhead, there are three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, but each distinctly and harmoniously involved in the work of redemption. {John 1:1-3, 1 John5:7-8, Deuteronomy 6:4}

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is wholly God and wholly man. He died upon the cross, and all who believe in Him are justified through His shed blood. He arose from the dead and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest. {Isaiah 7:14, II Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 1: 18-25}

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person sent to indwell, guide, teach, and empower believers. The Holy Spirit also came to convict the world of sin, unrighteousness, and judgment. {John 14: 16-18, 16:7-8}

The Eternal State

  1. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men; the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:11-15)

  1. We believe that the souls of the unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery until the second resurrection when with spirit, soul, and body reunited, they shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated but to suffer everlasting punishment. (Revelation 20:14-15)

  1. We believe that the souls of the redeemed are at death absent from the body and

present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss, they await the first resurrection when the

spirit and the body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord. (II Corinthians 5:6-8)
